In line with the humanitarian objectives, the President Defence and Police Officers' Wives Association (DEPOWA) Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa paid a humanitarian visit to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Zangon Kataf of Kafanchan Local Government Area of Kaduna State .
The DEPOWA President on 9 January 2024 donated relief materials to succour the effect of various challenges being faced by the IDPs.
ln her remark, the President DEPOWA informed the IDPs that the essence of the visit was to show support to them and to let them know that they are not alone despite the challenges they face.
Mrs Oghogho Musa donated various items meant to assist and enrich the lives of the IDPs, she further appreciated Her Excellency the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her exemplary leadership and the tremendous support she is rendering to women, youth and the vulnerable through her Renewed Hope Initiative Program.
Highlights of the visit were a tour of all the camps, donation of relief materials and group photographs.
